Born & raised in Cairo the only son of a handbag manufacturer (a family business founded in 1827). Sharif arrived in New York City in 1974 & after a short term at the exotic handbag company Finesse, Sharif ended up at the legendary Morris Moskowitz. He quickly developed a reputation for quality & a dedication to his customers, upgrading original bags with superior leather & finer hardware. Sharif has a following all over the world for traits like, unique, artistic, one of a kind, highest quality, extremely functional, loaded with organization & details, colorful, bold hardware.
Sharif now designs & manufactures in three countries- China, India, & Brazil, with opening price point collections in high quality man made materials ranging from $39.90 to $99.90 retail. Own our own factory allowing us to produce smaller unit orders & to produce exclusive materials & designs such as a classic leather collection in an opening price point range of $69.90 retail.
Sharif Studio has 3 collections:
Our Couture which retails from $300 to $700. Uses exotic skin such as Ostrich, Spring Bok, Snakeskin, and Crocodile.
Signature Collection which is a logo driven coated cotton trimmed in Vachetta Leather which retails from $79.90 to $229.90.
Traditional Sharif which ranges from $39.90 in small leather goods to $329.90 for large handbags. Materials range from sequins, tapestry, denim, embossed & tooled leathers.
